Initiated by the French Institute in Paris and coordinated by Romania, the FranceDanse program concludes in 2017, marking its 10th edition, across 13 countries in Eastern and Southeastern Europe, including Romania, in the form of an Orient-Express.

FranceDanse Orient-Express will allow a diverse audience from five major cities in Romania to discover dance performances by recognized or emerging French choreographers. This will be achieved through transdisciplinary proposals and performative forms in dialogue with urban space, video, music, sound creation, architecture, and heritage.

Audiences in Bucharest, Timișoara, Sibiu, Cluj-Napoca, and Iași will have the opportunity, starting from May, to attend a series of dance performances, as well as related events such as films, workshops, meetings, and debates.
